5. First African to Debut on Spotify’s Global Album Charts with an Album

With his iconic album “Made In Lagos,” Wizkid became the first African musician to appear on the Spotify Global Album Chart. The album not only debuted on the chart but also debuted in the top ten.

4. The African Album With The Longest Charting Time On The Billboard World Albums Chart

Wizkid’s album “Made In Lagos” has stayed more than 70 weeks on the Billboard World Albums Chart, making it the longest-charting African album. Wizkid broke the record set by Cesaria Evora with her album ‘Cesaria,’ which she had held for 27 years.

When it reached number one on the charts, it became the highest-charting album by a Nigerian.
